Hi there, my name is Natasha Hardy and I am an artist and singer/songwriter living in London, UK.

A little bit about my art….
I try to only paint with heartfelt strokes.
My inspiration comes from a multitude of paths: past experiences that I have lived through and the emotions that come with those experiences, the future and how that can manifest in my hopes and dreams…but most importantly I try to create what is present for me. Somehow they can sometimes all end up gelling together, but I always try to express and project what is in my heart and mind onto canvas.
The gift of art is that it is subjective and I hope you will find your own meaning in my art. I will try to express what it was, that was in me, to create it initially and for me that is my way of letting it go out into the big wide world where it can find its own place, where you can find what it means for you.
On the home page you will be able to discover the story behind each piece of art, and all the details such as sizing and pricing. Commissions are available on request and I would always love to hear from you and what you think.
I enjoy painting mostly in oil, but I do divulge into acrylic or watercolour depending on the subject.
A little bit about me…
My earliest memories of drawing are with my mother who used to draw numbers on a peice of paper and I had to make an animal out of each number. My favourite was number 2 as I could always make quite a good swan. About a million colouring books later, at school I revelled in all artforms, at around 7 years old I drew a fictional character half Kangaroo, half Rooster, and called it a Kangarooster – yes a well defined imagination at a young age! That picture was entered into a national competition for young budding artists. I went on to study art and pottery at school and took further studies in Fine Art.
Some of my favourite artists are Degas, Vermeer, Van-gogh and Chagall. I also enjoy illustrators such as Beatrix Potter, Edmund Dulac, and more recently Gabriel Pacheco. I also love Manga art. I have recently finished my first children’s book where I have also illustrated the book, more info on that soon!
I hope you enjoy looking around my website, please feel free to contact me about any of my work or if there is something you would like to commission me for.
All my love to you,
Natasha Jasmine June Hardy
