I can’t believe its almost a year since I did the art fair in Radlett! Since then I have been working on some nice watercolours and have started on a new oil-painting. I have also been working really hard to finish the illustrations for my first childrens book…I’ll drop by with some watercolours soon….
Here is the basic first wash of the painting, the idea came from a dream I had. The deer represents the delicateness of life, the flight or fight instinct, the wings represent freedom, freedom of expression, freedom to be myself. The girl represents the delicate part of me holding on, being carried through the wonderful night sky and into the universe. Looking straight ahead, looking life straight in the eye but being relaxed about the whole affair because life can be mesmerising if you just allow it to be x
I was thinking of doing a time lapse video so you can see the creative process…watch this space lets see if I can get a camera set up in my studio…
